I wonder if I’m brave enough to partition my new HD and install Win on it (after the Leopard install)? #
It would be very helpful to be able to use IE and Win Media Player, but I’ve already killed one HD this week. #

Reinstalling the OS. So far so good. #
Our IT guy (yes, we have only one here) ended up doing all the hardware work. I owe him a cake or something. #

@phinnia I think that was my own fault. I think when I installed Leopard, the HD saw all the new files and said, “You’ve GOT to be kidding.” #
@phinnia Besides, my old Dell ate two HDs. So I can’t blame the OS, just the owner. #
I should have done a custom reinstall. I don’t use iWeb and I doubt I’ll ever learn Finnish. #
One nice thing about having to reinstall everything — I can finally install Twhirl on my Mac! #
